I found Caitlin Hale very difficult to work with, she did not listen to me and to what I needed as a patient. I have gone to her a couple of times. Previously she prescribed medications that worsened the issues I was experiencing. During this last visit she spent time talking around me instead of addressing the issues I was having. She came off as rude this time and I let her know I would find another medical practitioner.

It says they are accepting new patients online, after calling I have discovered they only accept you if you aren't taking any controlled substance prescriptions. Even if you do not need management with the medication that is controlled this is their protocol and requirements, it was mentioned it is so that people don't take advantage of the system. It's disappointing to have a health care facility decline the opportunity to receive care because of other medical conditions you have.

Dr. Dunne is awesome, kind and friendly, never feel like being rushed out. Takes the time to get to know you beyond the body. Cares about what is happening in your life. Absolutely the best doctor I've had in my 60 plus years. The staff is kind and friendly and very efficient.

If you don't have insurance, don't bother.... When I asked if they are accepting new patients, the receptionist said it depends on what insurance I have. When I said I would pay out-of-pocket, she said, no we don't take patients without insurance. I half jokingly said, "What, do you think I'm not going to pay?" Her response of, "Well, no...." had a bit of a snide tone. I prefer to self-insure and am very capable of doing so. Very unprofessional!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Hillsboro Clinic. I was charged a $100 fee for missing an appointment that I had booked over six months ago. Not only was there no appointment reminder sent (which most clinics offer to help prevent no-shows), but they also charged my credit card without any prior consent for this charge. With such a long time between scheduling and the appointment, a simple reminder could have made all the difference. It’s frustrating to feel penalized when I had no chance to confirm or reschedule, especially given that many of us rely on reminders for appointments set far in advance. I would encourage others to ask about their policies upfront, as I feel this fee was handled poorly and unfairly.
