High Level Speech & Hearing Center

I visited High Level Speech & Hearing Center earlier this year when I had some concerns about my daughter’s speech. The staff ran a series of test and determined that she was fine, but their approach to the testing was incredible. They made my daughter feel at ease and spoke to her in such a way that allowed her to feel safe and comfortable and more receptive to the testing. I would definitely recommend to other parents who may have the same concerns.

We have utilized High Level for years when it comes to the speech and hearing screenings of our young students - infants to 5 years old. Their service has been so supportive and caring when evaluating our students. Would recommend if you have a school or child development center. Easy to reach. Easy to schedule. And great employees.

The staff is pleasant, but their appointment model is a scam. They would call me at the end of their business day Friday (while I was at work) and leave a message about an appointment that I didn’t make for Monday with a note that if I didn’t cancel the appointment 24hrs in advance that they charge a cancellation fee. It would be impossible to cancel said appointment as their offices are closed over the weekend. Secondly, High Level Speech & Hearing has been aggressively pursuing signing my son up for speech therapy since he was 16 months (he is 2.5 years old now). Most kids I know aren’t speaking at 16months and further, my son was failing his hearing tests (so what good would therapy be if he couldn’t hear?). Honestly, I may have considered pursuing speech therapy for my son there since

High Level Speech and Hearing visited my Early Learning Center in Gonzales, La. They have serviced over 100 schools and Learning Centers and provided screenings to children who otherwise would have fallen through the cracks. We are fortunate to have them as partners to work with our “little learners” and their families to ensure they reach their fullest potential without these types of boundaries.

High Level speech was professional in setting a date that would work for us. They continued communicating with us to get parent permissions in order to see as many students on their visit. The follow up results were just as professional. All the staff was patient and understanding of young children and committed to screening every child.
