Hickory Creek at Franklin

Hickory Creek staff are always friendly, quick to respond and communicative with patients and their families!

My grandma was here for about 25 days before we had to move her to a different facility on a memory care unit. This was no fault of the staff, they loved her, but she needed the extra security. The staff was GREAT to her during her time there. That was made even more evident when we went to move her to the new facility and the entire staff hugged her before we left, and a few of them even cried. The room was a little tight, but I’d take that any day knowing how great of hands she was in. The love and care they showed for my grandma far exceeded our expectations and we so wish she could have stayed longer. Thank you Hickory Creek!

My father has been here since his rehab inpatient hospitalization. The staff has been phenomenal in building relationships with him, the therapy department has tremendously helped him rehab post stroke, had open communication, and there is very frequent attention to his care. I am very pleased with his progress and the attentiveness of the primary caretakers and other care providers. The relationships built between my family and the staff is unparalleled from all of my own personal experiences as a daughter.

The staff was very nice but this place is very unorganized!! Everyday my brother was in here I had to ask to get his shower, change his clothes, brush his teeth, get him ice, and water for his cup. Change his bed. Help him to the bathroom. It always smelled bad. Gnats all over. It was just a dirty place. And I felt like I had to be there to get things done for him. The rooms are so very small. I was very glad we got him into another nursing home before he got worse and died. I wouldn’t want him to die there!!

This place used to be a good place for my mom until American Senior Communites took over. Since they took over it has been a nightmare. Not enough staff and very unorganized. My mother had two falls due to them not getting her psychotic medications, one of which caused a fracture in her neck. Most recently she was dropped from the hoyer lift causing a broken hip and surgery. She will not be returning to this facility! It's my opinion that no one should take their loved one here!!
