In 2011 I was in a serious boating accident and fractured my back. I was taken by ambulance to Englewood Hospital where my injuries were too severe to be treated and transferred by ambulance to Port Charlotte. It was determined that Dr. Hess was the only surgeon recommended for skill to operate due to extensiveness of my injury. Dr. Hess operated on my spine with such success that to this day 14 yrs later … I have no back pain and am enjoying an active lifestyle. After my surgery on Memorial Day weekend while recovering Dr. Hess took the time to come check on me with his children!!I wow.. He also took the time to call and communicate follow up with my primary care physician in PA as we-are snowbirds! I thank God everyday for Dr. Hess and HIGHLY recommend him!!!

Dr Hess is the Best!!!!!!! Including his associates, from his physician assistant (Jack)to his receptionist (Sandy). Not only are they a great team, they are family and they treat you as such. I’m so happy I put my fears to the side, because I wouldn’t be in the pain free I’m state in today. After my accident I endured a lot of pain and things turned for the worst. After the surgery I got the results I wanted and the affected area is completely pain free. It’s all thanks to Dr. Hess and his team, they are truly amazing!!! I’m living a better quality of life thanks to them and I truly feel blessed!!!

Dr. Hess is the best caring surgeon I ever met. He and his entire staff especially Wendy treats you like a family member. Dr.Hess inspite of being very busy responds to your question in quick time and takes care of you. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Dr.Hess for any back pain or neck pain issues. I normally don't like to review doctors. But this Doctor is very thorough . His office is the nicest and his workers are the best. That's the best place to go to, if you need help with your condition and pain.
