This was my first time at this practice, and I’m so happy I chose them. The staff was welcoming, the dentist was knowledgeable, and everything was explained clearly. I never felt rushed, and the entire appointment felt very thorough. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future dental needs.

The staff at Herndon Modern Dentistry are friendly and personable. The people at the front desk always greet me warmly, and Dr. Hatem and the hygienists are kind. I genuinely appreciate that personal touch and the overall welcoming environment. That said, I’ve had a few experiences that make me feel it’s important to advocate for yourself here. I’m often presented with optional treatments that can total $1,000+ (medications for early decay, irrigation, etc.), and the explanations sometimes lean toward worst-case scenarios, which can feel overwhelming. I understand they want to be thorough, but it can come across as pressure. Their attitude also often changes after you decline the expensive services. I typically double-check recommendations with my uncle, who owns his own dental practice,

I had my routine cleaning done by Bhakti the hygenist at Herndon Modern Dentistry and felt I should appreciate her work here. Bharti took the time to do a thorough job cleaning my teeth including some deep gum tissue where I had some bleeding. My gums healed a few days after the cleaning and felt healthy with no more bleeding. I'm usually skeptic about dental cleaning from my experience with different hygenists in the past but felt really clean after my cleaning this time. Keep up the good work, Bhaki and may God bless you. The front desk staff, the assistants and the dentists in the office were awesome as well, based on my interaction with them.

Incredible experience! I’ve always avoided going to the dentist due to bad past experiences, but thanks to this office I’ve regained my confidence. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed the entire staff was kind, professional, and attentive. Dr. Hatem explained every step with patience, I didn’t even feel the anesthesia, and after my cleaning I have never felt better. Everyone at the front desk, assistants, and hygienist made everything smooth and comfortable. You can truly tell they care about their patients. Highly recommend

Please do not go here. They will try to scam you and scare you. I was told my gums were in terrible condition and that I needed a 500 dollar "deep cleaning" (on top of 1000 dollars worth of additional treatments like lasers and such...). They refused to give me the basic cleaning for 59 dollars (that they had told me the previous day I was eligible for) because of the state of my gums. I ended up going to Franklin Farm Dental the following week, where they told me my gums were completely fine. The only issues I had were some minor tar build up and a couple fillings. I ended up paying a third of the amount that Herndon Modern was asking for. This place needs to be shut down.
