So tired to get Power of attorney for my dear mother suffering from cancer to ensure her treatment. The staff on Thursday said they had a notary on staff. Came down after work and after sitting for almost an hour at the nurses station that was unmanned. Eventually someone came and I asked and was told that they only work till 5. Came back Friday at 4:30 and hunted someone down as again the nurses station was unmanned. They then checked and said that the social worker had left early for the day. Checked again and found a POA form that would require 2 witness signatures only. Asked staff to serve as such and was informed that they could not do so. Called morning on Monday and asked for notary to schedule a time. Was informed that notary was their social worker and that they were out the en

My experience at Heritage Specialty Care has been wonderful. The nursing staff is fast,attentive, and fantastic with helping whenever needed. The therapist and therapy team has been great and made a big difference in improving my walking. I also enjoyed the fun activities, especially BINGO, and the opportunity to build friendships with the other residents. It's a supported and caring environment.

I know you hear a lot of negative things on here, but it's my home. Things could be better. Things could be worse. And yes I just getting out of the hospital in a couple days and I'm looking forward to going back. But like I said like all places there are good things and bad things. So I can't complain

My mother lived here for three years and she had the most terrible experience in the Memory Unit. It’s crowded, they didn’t attend to her needs, they rarely cleaned her room unless I visited and demanded that they did, the employee turnover rate is ridiculous, whenever I called to speak to my mother no one would ever the phone. My mother is diabetic and her A1C rose because whenever she asked for a snack they would give her unhealthy food loaded with sugar like Oreo’s and cookies. Her bedsheets would rarely ever get washed unless I told them to do it. The communication amongst staff (because there were so many) was terrible if I ever made a personal request for my mother. This place is gross. Residents smoking outside. The whole place smells like cigs. Very run down place. The admin interviewing you has his eyes closed the whole time, such an odd experience.
