Henry Ford St. John Hospital Emergency Room

Recently while visiting my father-in-law here (1/17/26), I had a heart attack in his room. The attending nurse discovered that I was having a heart attack and called for hospital wide emergency. Within minutes, I was down in surgery and had two stents put in. 3 days later (still in hospital) had to have one more put in. Doctor and staff were just absolutely fantastic with my care. I was so lucky to be here when the heart attack happened (per doctor). Doctors were always coming by checking on me and nursing staff were the best. I want to thank everyone for saving my life and making sure I got better during my stay. You are all the greatest!!!! Sincerely, Tim

My sister has been ill. She had some new issues that came about. They got her to the back quickly. She was assessed and treatment was started according to the team plan of treatment .She was admitted but ever has been very caring and nice to her and her family and that's is with each admission. I'm a healthcare worker and they have done a good job with treating her. Well today is December 23,2025 My sister who is very ill had a bad night last with the MN nurse and pct . It is my understanding that they( the nurse and the tech) were very rude and ruff with her. She ask to be toileted( on the bedside commode) she was told no and was violently forced on the bedpan. She had been waiting for assistance for about 40 minutes and had an incontinent episode while waiting for assistance. My sister s

I had a slip and fall and broke my ankle. They took great care of me. Doctor's and nurses to the X- Ray technician were very professional. Yes I would recommend Henry Ford's Emergency department. I would like to thank them all.

I went to the ER because I was having extreme pain from a reconstruction surgery i had due to breast cancer. I waited to be seen for over an hour, until I just just couldn't take the pain any longer and I left. The Er was NOT busy and just about every staff member I came in contact didn't seem to care that I couldn't sit down due to the pain, so it left me standing up the entire time. No one offered any assistance or suggestions. Im so disappointed in this ER/Hospital.

I can never put into words how grateful I am to everyone here. Everyone from the house keeping to the nurses to the psycians went above and beyond make sure we were comfortable and well informed, and treated respect and compassion. If not for this hospital my husband would have lost his battle and died. We leave here after 4 weeks thankful to God for the employees of St. John's, they're really angels in disguise. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I think they are under staffed in some areas
