I brought my eight-year-old son here for a severe neck ache headache muscle aches, photophobia muscle weakness had to be carried and brought him in explained what was going on the doctors which I will name as Dr. Robert Mark Sills and resident Mark Anthony Mansour did not test my son for anything did not test him for Covid did not test him for flu or strep sent him along his way. He told me he had an upper respiratory infection. My child had no runny nose, no cough nothing my child has plenty of respiratory infections and this was not it sent us along our way. I decided that was not good enough so I went to Beaumont Children’s Hospital, which is massively insanely better than St. John Moross children’s ER. They did an x-ray of his neck. They did a chest x-ray. They gave him a IV with fluid

Used to love this place. My kids have been going here and seeing Dr. Christy Petroff since birth...10 years for my son and 8 years for my daughter. I called a while back for something only to be told that Dr Petroff is gone!!! 😡 Only to find out a few minutes into thst phone call that she's not "gone" but will no longer be seeing her former patients because she has moved somewhere else into the hospital and into a teaching position. I was devastated and my kids upset as well. The staff they HAD there used to be so nice now they have all been replaced. It's ALL gone down hill. Having to repeatedly call to get my son a refill on his CORRECT inhaler is getting to be too much. The decline of this place should be studied!!! It used to be fast yet thorough exams but NOW, pack a lunch and prepare to wait because all my appointments over the last few years especially all 2025 have been at LEAST two hours and that’s to even be seen. It’s ridiculous

Horrible pediatric unit. Please if you are considering taking your child to the emergency room go downtown to children’s hospital. This “pediatric” unit has the absolute worse doctors I have ever seen!!! My daughter had a piece of glass stuck in her foot. It was swollen red and she could not walk on it. Two male doctors told me that’s not urgent and she should see a podiatrist in a couple months. They said that a 2 yr old walking on her toes was okay till someone else could see me and that they don’t have the instruments to remove a piece of glass out the heel of her foot. They were too lazy to get a scalpel and tweezer or forceps to remove a foreign object from a child’s foot because it was after midnight. They spoke to me like I was crazy and over reacting. It seems that more than one of the doctors here feel that breastfeeding past 1 y/o is taboo. Our last two visits, the doctors had weird attitudes about me still nursing. My son is only 18m. Most of the doctors we’ve had here are awkward, odd, impatient, or curt. Giving two stars instead of one for the front desk staff, nurses that take vitals and administer vaccines—they are wonderful and kind.
