Henry County Health Center

I needed a new doctor since mine has retired. I called the hospital asking to see a doctor and let them know I was a new patient. They told me to give them my information and they would call me back after lunch. I probably should have asked them what day because I have waited for some time and got no response. It seems they dont want new patients so I called another hospital and got an appointment with them. I decided to write a review after realizing they dont offer a customer service number and this was the only way to let them know they lost a patient. When I pulled up the web page and noticed you had a two star rating it all made sense. Someone better take control of this hospital before Henry County folks don't have the option.

Told me I couldn’t pay out of pocket just for a follow up and to refill my prescription, because my insurance was not approved there which is totally fine. Tried to hang up the phone without even giving me an alternative place to go to. Been going to this place since I was born and this isn’t the first time they treated my family and I like this. Never going back.

They might have fast service, but there's a reason for that. It's because people who have already gone here before do not return! Service the day of the appointment was okay, but after is an absolute nightmare!!! Make sure you ask how their billing works before you go here. They may be an "urgent care" clinic, but they bill completely different and LORD HELP YOU! If you have to call billing and talk to Ashley or Ashlyn. Rudest "customer service" I've ever experienced. I hope we never encounter them again. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

This 'hospital' is terrible! Most of the time they won't even answer the phone. To make matters worse every time I need to get a refill on meds for my eighty year old mother I literally have to go down to the front desk at the hospital to place the order as they WILL NOT respond to the pharmacy. Once in a while a decent staff person is there but most of the time I am faced with complete incompetence and absolute rudeness. To ad insult to injury we are forced to pay property taxes to fund this horrible excuse for healthcare. Re HCHC response: Clearly you DO NOT value feedback.
