The Pharmacist Sarah,has always been very helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure the medicines needed are gluten free, which is needed for a family member! She and her staff have answered questions and provided information when needed. We feel they really listen. Thank you, Henniker Pharmacy!

I will never come here for a refill again. I have been trying since 9:30 a.m. to get a prescription transferred, calling back periodically throughout the day to check on the status. Each time, I was told, “We’re very busy and haven’t received a fax yet.” As the day was coming to an end, I called again. I explained that I have a 103° fever and that this medication is meant to prevent my throat from seizing. After waiting an entire day, I was trying to avoid ending up in the ER. The pharmacist on duty—an older woman working the afternoon and evening shift—responded, “Well, if you just called the doctor again, have them send a new script here.” That would have been fine if this had been communicated earlier, not forty minutes before closing. Love my local pharmacy, always helpful and personal, unlike the annoying Internet online pharmacies that continue to solicit my business away with come on offers and impersonal nagging when we say "NO". A local pharmacy is an essential part of a vital community, and the history of The Henniker Pharmacy roots in the community are treasured.

Forget CVS and big pharmacies with their annoying phone systems and long lines. Simply call, speak with a pharmacist, and swing in and grab your prescription. The merchandise side of the store itself is quite charming, decent beer selection, and nice toy store in the basement (although expensive).
