Helena Pediatric Clinic

I've taking my kids here for years but now I'm thinking it's time to switch. You never know what you're going to get when you call and ask any questions. I'm trying to get information about the flu shot and Ashley at the front desk was so unbelievably rude unprofessional and for no reason and hung up on me. I don't understand why having people who are obviously not good with social interaction answer phones. But the fact that I had to call partners in pediatrics to have some decent human being kindly give me information and answer the exact same questions I think says a lot. It might be time for a switch even though we love our doctor. I can't handle dealing with Ashley at that front desk. My children were patients here a few years back. Prior to covid, the wait times were awful. During covid, I ended their care here when I was told they could not fill a prescription over the phone, because they could not provide adequate care. So I agreed to schedule an appointment- to which I was told ALL non-sick appointments had to be done over the phone. The ignorance behind the conversation made me concerned enough for my childrens safety, that I ended their care here. It was not until transferring my children to Partners In Pediatrics that I realized how all-around awful this place was. In comparison, the wait times are absurd. The rude office staff & unhelpfulness around prescriptions is unacceptable. The lack of testing & general gas-lighting behavior and dismissiveness is scary. Wh

We switched from another pediatric clinic and have been so, so happy with the care our three children receive at Helena Pediatrics. The front office staff are all welcoming and kind. They are easy to schedule with and we never have any trouble getting appointments. The medical assistants have also always been great to deal with. My children see Dr. Smith as their primary pediatrician and we just love her. She is patient, thorough and always willing to answer any questions we have and think outside the box. She clearly loves her patients and takes her time getting to know them. We never feel rushed and we always feel like we received great care from her. I have been taking my children here since birth. My oldest is now 12, and we haven't had one negative experience with any of the doctors or front desk staff. The doctors are kind, compassionate, and hard working. We have had various wait times, which is to be expected at a busy pediatric office. Remember, your child isn't their only patient and emergencies do arise. We have also said no to different vaccines/medical procedures and have had no push back, only courtesy and more information. I appreciate the doctors' willingness to work with us in providing the best care for our five children. In regards to the front desk, they have been polite, courteous and helpful. The nurses also have been professional, personal, and are great with kids.
