This is a formal complaint regarding negligent long-term care, false documentation in my medical chart, and improper discharge without notification. These events have materially delayed my medical recovery and have resulted in significant harm to my physical, psychological, and logistical health. ⸻ 1. Negligence Under Dr. Keva Fothergill (Early 2024 – Late 2025) From early 2024 through late 2025, I was under the care of Dr. Keva Fothergill. I love Dr.Keva!! And her medical team at Dr.Campos office! She is very experienced in diabetic care. She takes the time and effort to explain how to take my insulin and how to write a log of my blood sugars each day. She explains to me how my blood sugar affects my body, what I should be looking for when I am experiencing a glycemic response ,what I should and shouldn’t be eating or drinking and different avenues I can take towards treatment and overall growth/recovery. Honestly I think the only reason any of the “one star” reviews have been written is because those former patients either got caught trying to manipulate the office into getting controlled medications that they didn’t need or didn’t get the controlled medications they were hoping for walking into the office with symptoms tha

Veronica the person who attended the phone is very rude. I called three times and I was told different versions of the status from my insurance and documentation I need to cover my medication. They asked to send by fax my new card (old style way) and at this time and don’t know if they really have it. Is very frustrated to have a good doctor and poor staff service.

The wait is long, in the waiting room and in back as well. His office staff are the most incompetent and rude staff I have ever met. They don’t care how long you have been going there or what your situation and illnesses are. They constantly hang up on people, lose files, notes and refuse patients to see or speak to Dr. Campos. UPDATE: 12/21/2023: I just got out of the hospital on 12/18/2023 due to medication Dr. Campos put me on. I have been calling his office to see him since 12/19/2023 and his staff have been refusing to book an appointment with him and continue to put me on hold and hang up on me! Not a good idea. I scheduled an appt weeks in advance, and waited in the waiting room for 2.5 hours past my appointment time. When I finally got in, Dr. Campos told me without even listening to my heart or knowing any of my medical history, that my symptoms sounded rhythm-related and I could go into v-tach (a very dangerous cardiac rhythm) at any time. We talked about referring me to a cardiologist for a full work-up: holter monitor, stress test, and echocardiogram. I was surprised when the cardiologist called me and told me the only thing he put in was an echo, which doesn’t even address a rhythm problem. I called the office every morning for 2 weeks before my cardiologist appointment to try to fix the referral.
