I waited over an hour and 15 minutes, with my clothes off. I stepped into the hall twice to ask if I should reschedule this appointment. I understand running late. It’s a good thing. She may talk to her patient, but she never talked to me and she never apologized. When I did see her, she was very very short. I will find another dermatologist, I hope you will too

Went in for a 6 month skin check on July 2nd. Saw Madalyn who treated a precancer spot on my face and 5 places on my back using the freeze spray gun. Left the office, drove home, (about 20 min) and when I got home I had water filled water blisters on all 6 places that had been treated. I called back to the office the next day and the office was closed for July 4th weekend. Could not reach the office until Friday to leave a message. I explained that I had been treating my burned skin and requested a call back from Madalyn or Dr.Loach asap. Neither ever called me back to check on me. Very unsatisfied with their post care. I've been going to Coastal Dermatology for over 10 years and feel very comfortable with this practice. I left a larger, local, practice because I felt they were more focused on cosmetics at the time and seemed to rush my annual skin check. I had a small melanoma at only 18, so I have to be checked annually, I want someone to thoroughly check all my 1,000+ moles and spots and take their time. I used to see their PA, Megan, for years until she moved out of town. I see their new PA, and have been very pleased as well. They listen to my concerns, take pictures for records and comparisons, so I can be certain there are no changes. After waiting over an hour and a half I still never saw the doctor and ended up leaving and getting copay reimbursed. The office was not busy. While there I saw only 2 other clients one of which left before I was taken back. Both of the receptionists were nice and helpful. Did find it odd to see the doctors German shepherd in the office found that a bit unprofessional.

Madalyn and Madison were both incredible, kind, quick, and so helpful. I would trust them with my life! The front desk staff was also amazing. Thank you, Coastal Dermatology!
