Dr. Smith always takes the time to truly listen. When he explains something, he even draws it out to help you visualize and understand what’s going on. As someone without a healthcare background, I really appreciate how he makes complex information simple and clear. He makes sure parents fully understand before leaving, and that means so much. We’re very grateful for his and his team’s care and patience❤️

Dr Smith is truly the best of the best! He is always helpful with my myriad of questions and is so kind and patient with my girl! He got us through lots of worry and tests in the newborn stage! She cries to go to the Dr as a 2 year old….if that does not convince he is the best, I do not know what will! 💚

Dr. Ingram is the BEST! She takes the time to get to know your child and addresses your concerns. I have three children who have seen Dr. Ingram for a variety of medical issues, and Dr. Ingram has always been knowledgeable and attentive. Even when we've had ER visits, Dr. Ingram has stayed in contact to ensure that the ER staff are aware of her patient's needs. Her staff is kind and quick, and they work hard to get you from the waiting room to the Dr. FAST (which is a huge relief when you've got sick kiddos!). If your child needs to be seen for day-of sickness or issues, they work you into their schedule to be sure that your child is cared for that day. We also love Dr. Ingram's partner Dr. Smith, and their on-call rotation team. All around the best pediatric care in Decatur, AL! Thank you

Hands down best doctors & staff I’ve ever seen. Dr smith & Dr Ingram both are so amazing with the children & even the parents. They remember each kid without hesitation including the kids details and issues off the top of their heads . I’ve never dealt with any doctors that actually talk to you without talking down to you and etc. they always manage to adjust whatever needed to get the kids in as fast as possible when sickness hits & they are literally just all around the best.

Huge fan of Dr. Smith and Heart of the Valley Pediatrics. They are extremely kind, informed, patient, caring, and always have my children's best interests at heart. So thankful for a great pediatric practice close to home!
