I had a truly wonderful experience at HearingLife and want to sincerely thank Mr. Skip and Carla. Mr. Skip was kind, gentle, and extremely thorough. He took his time, explained everything clearly, and made me feel genuinely cared for. My hearing has changed over time, and I’m so thankful he is here—he prescribed new hearing aids that will truly change my life and help me hear better again. His compassion and professionalism meant more to me than I can express. Carla at the front desk was just as wonderful—warm, welcoming, and very helpful from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this location. You will be in excellent hands.

Experienced tinnitus for almost a year. Had hearing test while in Florida in February of this year. Since it all started with a viral upper respiratory infection, it was suggested I retest in 6-12 months. A friend here in OBX suggested I go to Hearing Life so I did. My hearing test results were similar to what my first test 9-10 months ago were, but the real test was trying on the demos at the Hearing Life office. It seemed to cancel my tinnitus and I could hear weak sounds from down the hall. I purchased the Oticon Intent 1 and I’m due back in a week for recheck and fine tuning. Hearing and sight are too important not to have the best you can to enjoy life. I can’t tell they are in my ears and I think this will be improvement in quality of life. Skip does the testing and is very knowledge

Everything about my visit, from Carla helping with my appointment to my exam was professional and extremely informative. Skip focused on my tinnitus and hearing loss, my business and social activities and fit me with the best pair for my needs. I walked out happy and hearing!
