Tom and Don were very obliging to schedule several appointments for me after I had gotten Signa hearing aids from another provider who was not experienced . She sold me the hearing aids and did not program correctly. (Only higher and lower ). I had hearing aids for years from a brand no longer in our area. She would talk with her back to me while walking down the hall and at her desk as well. Something you don't do addressing people with hearing loss. I returned two more times to let her know they weren't working g correctly to no avail only raised the setting. Out of desperation I asked her to order a tv hearing device that I personally paid for. The doctor was very skilled at making my grandmother feel at ease and she trusted him. However, I did make it very clear that I wanted to be informed of any potential charges. I had called her insurance and asked careful questions. After we had left the hearing exam, they brought us back for an "ear mold" in which they used a substance to mold her ear. I was very surprised to learn later that there was a $150 charge for this. I was upset because I had been very clear that I wanted to be informed of any possible charges, and they had not informed us of the $150 charge.

I just wanted to say how very much my mom and I appreciate the service and kindness we received. Very professional and absolutely wonderful people. I am very happy about how they treated my mom with such kindness and patience and understanding. Thank you for your services. My mom (D. Martindale) is so much better now that she has her hearing aids. It has changed her outlook on life.

Terrible Service! Rude and Unprofessional. Poor Management. I am the caretaker for my grandmother. She was the unfortunate person who, at the behest of the Medicare plan, had to endure the issues with the actual hearing aids. Since I speak for her, I had the unpleasant experience of being verbally attacked by the personnel and a member of management. It was so egregious that at one point I thought it best I vacate for my safety. I have since returned the hearing aids and am awaiting a refund. I have a scheduled an appointment with an actual “Otolaryngologist”. Hopefully she will be treated with respect and an abundance of professionalism. *the hearing aids were returned on 10/18/2022. My mother is extremely independent having been an educator for 32 years in Chesapeake, VA, and she has earned and provided for herself excellent insurance coverage which transports her to medical appointments, giving her some feeling of autonomy at her age.
