Hearing & Balance Specialists of Kansas City

I have been going to Hearing and Balance Specialists of Kansas City for 2 years now. They have always been friendly, helpful, and they really listen to their patients. I have seen Dr Flowers and Dr Lycans and both are fantastic! Their equipment and technology is state of the art, and the quality of their hearing aids are superior to many other brands and models other companies sell. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hearing health.

Initially, I was persuaded by all of the positive reviews. Apparently our experiences were the outliers?? Docs were friendly and professional enough. However, our child was analyzed for two different issues, at two different times, and in both instances we paid a lot of money only to be told there was basically NOTHING to be done to address either her vertigo or her misophonia. We were given some printouts very similar to what I could find online/Google and sent on our way. Quite contrary to the therapies and purported outcomes touted on their website. Not impressed. Would look elsewhere and always be suspicious of a business that has straight 5.0 reviews. Just my two cents…

My experience with my audiologist Claire Kippenbrock was so superb! I was so impressed with her caring ways, knowledge of the new hearing aid technology and helping me consider different options.

Wait time was very minimal. I was seen earlier than my appointment time. The doctor was pleasant, kind, thorough, and understanding. She took time to talk with me, asking questions for clarity, and answering my questions. Testing was thorough and results were adequately explained. Also, my report of results were emailed to me within 2 hours of my appointment. The office staff were efficient and pleasant. The office was a nice and calm place.

Dr. Flowers has been a rock star working with me and my tinnitus. She is so very knowledgeable and up to date on the very latest treatment protocols. Always takes the time to explain everything related to treatment. So grateful to have found this practice.
