Healthy Steps Pediatrics

We moved from out-of-state and I think I found this office through a search of my own rather than a personal recommendation. I wanted to give some feedback to help others who may be in a similar boat. From a parent's perspective it has been difficult to schedule regular, on-time well-checks and I find the office staff curt rather than warm and welcoming. The in-take assistant Olivia has been absolutely lovely in-person and on the phone the couple of times I interacted with her. Now that we have some community in the area I've asked for personal recommendations and have found a different practice.

Called to schedule an appt and her tone immediately changed when I told her I was a little skeptical of the vaccine schedule and my child was not fully vaccinated. Said she would have her supervisor call me back, of course no one called me back. I didn’t say I was against them, just wanted to work with a practice that was willing to talk about it.

Healthy steps is such an amazing practice! Both of our children go here and see Dr Meyer and Dr John as well as the practitioners. Dr John and Dr Meyer are so very kind and caring, so helpful and just wonderful doctors. And the nurses like Olivia, Terry, and Shamika (and others) are top notch. They are so very sweet and have helped our family so much. Highly recommend!

My three children go to this practice. I truly cannot say enough good things about the providers and staff at Healthy Steps. They are experts at what they do-- all while showing sincere kindness to their patients and families. I am so grateful to know my kids are under such great medical care. Additionally, whenever I call for an immediate need, my children are always seen promptly. We even had a medical issue right before the office closed but Dr. Meyer still got my child in to be seen that day.

We love Dr. John and Dr. Meyer! Our three kids have all been seen here since birth. Their doctors have been caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable through every stage of childhood. The nursing staff has always been excellent and responsive to all our questions. Scheduling/reception is easy and cheerful - we have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend this practice to anyone in the area who is looking!
