Aging is a sneaky snake. One day doing yard work is healthy exercise, but the next morning your domenant shoulder aches with a debilitating pain. That's me. To help my pain, I opted for mega doses of Ibrophen and allocating dominate right-handed jobs to my left-hand. However, I had no sleep and no daylight without pain for a month without pain. I entered into physical therapy 2X a week at Healthy Seniors in December, 2025 with two primary goals. I hoped to learn how to alleviate some chronic lower body cramping and I desired to distance walk again, something I had been unable to do when I began therapy. With therapy, and upon discharge two months later, both of these goals were met. In addition, my entire body is physically stronger and more balanced, so now I walk more confidently. I just completed a 6 to 8 week therapy program with Healthy Seniors PT and Therapist Leanza Sidey. Leanza was a joy to work with. She quickly identified my issue and came up with a plan that included exercises that I could complete at home. Her plan did wonders for me and got me back on my feet quicker than I anticipated.
