HealthMed Urgent Care - Atlantic City

We were on vacation and went there on July 3 for myself and came back on July 4th for my 5 year old son with asthma. They were open as advertised and we were seen quickly by a very pleasant nurse. Dr Stern was extremely nice and explained both the diagnosis and treatments in detail. By the time we got to the pharmacy, the scripts were received and ready for pickup. Very thankful for their professionalism.

Went to this urgent care with my boyfriend because he had an injury the other day. Everyone was very nice overall but this urgent care is very sketchy. Tried to use insurance that says urgent care is covered on the insurance card itself and they said bc it’s out of state it isn’t covered. You have to contact insurance to try and get your money back and it is very difficult to get any information from this urgent care to be able to even do that. They don’t give you any discharge papers what so ever and when you call and try to get information you get a lady with a really bad attitude. The doctors and staff themselves seemed inexperienced though they were very nice when we went in which is why I even considered giving this place 2 stars. Traveling from NYC. Daughter had her asthma act up. Dr stern and staff were professional and quick to treat. They prescribed the necessary steroids. Unfortunately, our NY insurance was not accepted but I gladly paid the $135 fee. Professional and clean place. Dr. Stern has excellent bedside manners and physical assessments. I would recommend this place.

Dr. Stern and his staff are lovely. I was on vacation with my family and needed care and they were friendly and I was treated promptly. I’d highly recommend this practice to anyone.

My husband had injuries at work he was bought here. Have say Suzie nurse took excellent care of him. She’s a very pleasant and professional absolutely treat you as if you part of her family. Dr who was in @ time was pleasant. I would recommend facility if you’re in Atlantic City area was clean and including waiting area.
