No issue with the birthing suites, but with the NICU. Specifically Maureen, the absolute worst person employed by that wing of the hospital by far. Her constant sighing, whining, and moping about makes it clear to you she doesnt like her job, doesnt care about the newborns beyond a paycheck, and has no interest in making new parents feel welcome or even tolerated when they are visiting their baby. She made it very clear from the start that she disliked my husband (I'm posting this from his account) and, by my estimation, all men as a whole. After promising us we could hold our daughter, she suddenly changed her mind right after I was done and said that "Your husband cant hold her, sorry the men always get short changed with this stuff. ever since I've been here, I've had such a great experience. All I can say is wow.. Gary Alexis is amazing. Going out of his way even working the night shift constant attention. care and comfort. I highly recomend this establishment five stars but 10 stars if I could.. OK !!! xoxo my love for all the team members.

I was just like to say my deepest appreciation to all who ran the sixth floor surgical for where I stayed. They went above and beyond the kindness and loyalty to their patience each and every one of them nurses doctors AIDS cleaning people should all be given a big thanks once again thank you all of us from your patient. This had to be the worst an experience I ever had in an ER. No beds. My 91year old mother was being tested and treated in an ER hallway no curtains with no regard for her privacy. HIPPA laws totally disregarded. Totally unsanitary. Garbage pails moving past hallway patients. It is now going on 9 hours and she is being admitted and must wait longer for a bed to be available. DO NOT GO TO HOLMES IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.

Health First/Holmes Regional may have the facility but lost their compassion. Sat in ER for over 3 hours 3/2. It was a zoo. Gave up and came back 3/3. Maybe 8 people waiting. Currently approaching 2 hours. Was sent here by Gateway urgent care. It doesn’t matter, nothing happens except a swamp of paper. Wish there was a little heart left in medicine.
