HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe

Had my son here and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone who worked there was so kind and professional. Rooms were clean and a nice size. Didn't have to wait long for anything, very efficient.

As a Healthcare professional, my expectations for experience may be on the 1st class side. The check in process is easy, the medical assistant at the window was great. The NP was very informative. The registration process was smooth and the lady was sweet. The xray tech was awesome. The only reason I provided a 3 star was the medical assistant (white, bald fade and short) was the biggest joke in the ER. There wasn't any room available on Wednesday and the NP ordered 2 shots. This lady insisted on me taking my sweater off in the ER lobby and I advised I didn't feel comfortable she stated well you will have to or wait hours for a room. We provide care in the lobby all the time. I said no and she walked off. She's very rude and has poor Healthcare skills. I voiced my concerns to the lady at t

Everyone overseeing my care was fantastic. The nurse who prepped me for my surgery was kind, personable, and easy to talk to. The anesthesiologist had a strong confident energy about her while at the same time was friendly and funny. The other two nurses in charge of my care were compassionate and very attentive. They had me covered with multiple warm blankets when I woke up from surgery and told me I was shivering so they wanted to make sure I was warm. They all seemed very appreciative of a simple thank you. Each of them set an excellent example of how meaningful compassionate care is and I felt very safe under their care. I hope they know the pride they take in their work was definitely noticed.

My wife was admitted after having chest pains (first time ever). The ER doctor was concerned about a specific enzyme that was elevated. Once in a room the charge nurse (Gavin) said the enzyme number is nothing to be concerned about. The ER doctor that admitted my wife was concerned about the number. She has been here going on day 4 and she still hasn't seen a cardiologist, as the enzyme number has gone up, not down. I have protested all I can to no avail. Tonight I asked for them to start a transfer for her to the Woodlands. The staff is friendly, but the quality is suspect. She had tests done with zero results given as of today. I understand not being able to see a doctor until the next day, but going on 4 days, wow!

My ICU nurses Shannon, Krystyna, and Amy went above and above to care for me in the ICU. They were very caring and attentive and made me feel like I was the most importantly person in the world. I felt loved and cared for. World class care right here in Conroe. Thank you so much. Can’t recommend them enough. They helped me through a difficult time when I had a stroke. Also in the CT, the CT tech Duffy got my IV the first time and did an excellent job.
