There's a woman at the front desk who always has an "I hate my life" demeanor, her name is Karen (imagine that). Today I called to let them know we'd be a little bit late for our 3pm appt, and she told me the appt was supposed to be 2:45. I checked my confirmation email for the appt and it in fact said 3pm. So I tried to let her know once we arrived that there was an error somewhere, and she shrugged her shoulders and basically told me it didn't matter with the regular "I hate my life go away" facial expression. I said that I just wanted to mention it for the sake of future appts and she told me "you're good". At that point I responded "yeah, I know I'm good", because why wouldn't I be? I don't understand what makes people think they can just be rude and dismissive when it's not warranted.

Dr. Soutter is amazing! He really took his time with me and my son, even maybe a bit extra just to make us more comfortable. He gave great information and clarification that we desperately needed and we left feeling more informed than ever! We traveled about an hour to see him as well, glad we did!

Dr. Soutter is amazing and the office staff is great too! I've never had to wait long to see him Dr Soutter. His bedside manor is outstanding and he takes the time to talk to you and explain everything. He also answers questions and offers the opportunity for in my case my husband who was not at the appointment with me to call and ask him any questions he may have. So happy to have found him!

Dr. Soutter is truly fantastic! He takes his time to speak to each patient and their families, and explain all of the details of any procedure. While heading into surgery, Dr. Soutter scooped up our child, like he was his, to ensure he was comfortable. We are so thankful for him, and would highly recommend him to anyone in need!

I truly do not know where to begin. We have had nothing but a negative experience with the GI specialists from our first phone call. This office has dropped the ball three times on us. We had two appointments within twelve weeks where my foster son's records were not even gotten yet. I signed record release forms, gave them info where to get records even gave them backup where to get records if they couldn't from MUSC. Still two appointments were a waste of time because they had me come in with absolutely no preparedness. A drop of the ball. Also, Dr. Mizra argued with me about the diagnosis of my foster son's condition. I told him he had this type of disease. He said "absolutely not. His scar is up here. It's definitely not that".
