HCA Florida University Hospital

I had a great experience with HCA hospital University. All staff on the Labor and Delivery floor were awesome. I was treated with Respect and Staff were always helpful when needed. My delivering Doctor, Dr. K Janvier was great along with the birthing team on 1/22/26 were phenomenal. I would choose this hospital again.

We went to HCA University for the birth of our baby girl, and their maternity ward staff is amazing! All of the nurses are very helpful and caring. They were quick to check us in late at night, very accommodating, patient when we had questions and also kind. They know how to make you feel comfortable and put your best interest at heart. The hospital itself is new and updated. Delivery rooms are big and spacious. They have a full DirectTV setup as well as some movies for you to watch. There is also a Starbucks on site, and a decent cafeteria (as good as a hospital café an be right? :) ) Overall I would highly recommend delivering here!

My experience at HCA Florida University in Davie, Fl was the best. The patient check-in was great. The representative in Out-patient radiology was really personable and nice. Then there was Cesar the tech, he made my experience so much better. Very professional, personable, and friendly. He made a not so good visit pleasant. HCA, great job in hiring the best staff.

Overall cannot say enough good things about my experience, in labor and delivery especially. All nurses went above and beyond for me. Nurse crystal stood out the most, as she truly did everything in her power to comfort me and try and progress my labor. In the post partum unit I had the pleasure of having Jamie as my nurse for 2 days and loved how thorough she was. Always taking the time to answer any questions. Overall great experience with the staff, would recommend to everyone.

My visit to HCA Florida University was exceptional. I delivered my precious baby boy by Dr. Kimberly Janvier and she was simply amazing —from bedside manner, care and professionalism. I felt at ease going into my C-section delivery with her expertise and reassurance that all will be well. The nurses in postpartum were wonderful. Specifically my experience with Wendy. She went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and we had a comfortable visit. Since my baby was born preemie, we were in the NICU for a little over a week. The NICU team is phenomenal! I learned sooo much and am truly grateful for their team! Renee and Nichole went above and beyond the call of duty to care for a baby.
