HCA Florida Putnam Hospital

I just got out of the hospital today, Thursday 2/12/2026. I was admitted Monday 2/9/2026. I hate hospital stays…normally…..but this was different. From the moment I got placed in the room, I was treated like I was a V. I. P. From every single person that works there. ALL the nurses were amazing! They took VERY good care of me!! Took their time to answer any questions I had. Took the time to get anything I needed. They were very careful with any procedures that had to be done. AND even went above and beyond to help me on a personal level! (To ensure that I was able to talk to my mother on the phone staying in a room just a few doors down from me.). It was the most amazing hospital stay I have EVER had! I mean……with the exception of being sick of course. I just want to let everyone know t

I had outpatient surgery performed by Dr. Grimes and his team. Everything went better than expected! The team was professional and highly organized. From the moment I walked through the doors at 9:00 a.m., I felt the care and attention provided by all. I had a full right hip replacement, went through pre-op, surgery, post -op recovery and saw and was cleared by physical therapy that afternoon. Amazing! I was home before dinner! One week later, I’m moving around real well, minimal pain and am concentrating on strengthening my muscles. Thanks for fixing my hip Dr Grimes and all who helped make this a success.

Took great care of me. I was taken back in no time flat for a routine surgical procedure. Afterwards the team ensured i was feeling good and had everything before I left the hospital. Team was very pleasant and upbeat and at the same time attentive and professional. Made me feel quite comfortable considering the type of procedure I was having. I am happy with my experience.

I was very very sick and so weak. I could hardly walk. My electrolytes were depleted. I was admitted and had 3 nurses throughout the day and night. Christopher, Care Team, was such a gentleman and took good care of me. I was in a beautiful clean room. Nurse Janel and Elizabeth were wonderful and then walked in Nurse Rachel. She has a genuine sweet and caring soul! She really and truly cared about me and took such good care of me. She even stayed by my side until my ride picked me up. Thank you Rachel! Olivia, RN, CNC, you should be very proud of your A+ staff! Thank you Putnam Hospital!

The people were fantastic. From the minute I came in from my surgery till I left it was a good experience. The only drawback that I can see is that the prep area for surgical procedures is way too small and there's no expectation of privacy whatsoever. But I'm sure as you grow and expand that concern will be handled. Thank you again for a wonderful experience, Dr Grimes is fantastic!
