HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital

My experience here was extremely disappointing and concerning. Upon arrival, no staff were present at the front desk. As an emergency patient, I would have waited an unacceptable amount of time had I not flagged down security. I was placed in a room that was clearly too small, making it difficult for staff to move the bed and significantly adding to my pain. I was later moved into a hallway under active air-conditioning vents and left there for more than 15 minutes, which worsened how I was feeling. Throughout my visit, staff appeared disorganized and uncertain, which did not inspire confidence. The physician avoided eye contact and provided what felt like dismissive, rehearsed explanations regarding my kidney stone. Most concerning was the IV process. The insertion was painful, and me

My husband had a wonderful experience thanks to an amazing nurse on the care team. They were friendly, respectful, and truly compassionate. Everything that was being done was explained clearly and thoroughly, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. Their kindness and genuine human care did not go unnoticed. We’re very grateful for the professionalism and empathy shown.

Absolutely love this place! I came in for pregnancy complications and the nurses and doctors were extremely sweet. They made it feel like home and they made me feel like my concerns were good concerns and not just me being paranoid. Thank you so much Dr Gould and the two nurses who i forgot their names 😅 you guys really took time to understand my concerns and take it seriously!

Visit was great. Attending physician was straight forward and to the point. Nurses could have been more attentive to the needs of the patient when ringing the call button. A nurse did not show up at times for 15 minutes and when asked if patient could go to the restroom the nurse sent a paramedic in to give patient a portable urinal container.

The 9 days I spent in the hospital was split between ICU and 3rd floor were lifesaving. The staff and other workers were careing, professional and I can truly say I don't have any complaints. Even though I was deathly ill, my care was nothing short of amazing. How do you truly thank such an amazing group ❤️ for your life. Thank you HCA Florida Lake Monroe. You are all my heroes.
