HCA Florida Braden River Emergency

I've never had problems here until today! I went in because I'd been battling some sort of sickness for the past week. Horrible headache, dehydration, nausea, dizziness, etc. I explained to them that I had almost passed out in morning due to the horrible night sweats I'd been having. The nurse was very nice. The dr had 0 bedside manner. All they did was give me a Covid and flu test. I was expecting some iv fluids, to no avail! They told me to take some anti-nausea medecine so that I could keep the Gatorade down and to add some motrin to the tylenol I was taking! Are you serious! I just paid $250 to go home and do the same thing I was already doing! What a joke! I will definitely not be coming back here!!

I want to sincerely thank Yolanda, the RN who took care of my mother today at the HCA Florida Braden River Emergency Room. She was incredibly patient, compassionate, and attentive during a stressful time for our family. Yolanda made sure my mom felt comfortable and cared for every step of the way, and we truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Although an ER visit is never something you hope for, the care we received made a big difference. Yolanda did a fantastic job, and I’m very grateful for her support. Highly recommend this emergency room and the wonderful staff.

This was a great experience. Quick and painless. Yolanda my nurse was amazing and very professional. Dr. Biondolillo was great too, very informative, very professional and caring. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. I would definitely visit them again.

Once again I needed the services of an ER. I went to HCA Braden River Emergency on rte 70. The minute you walk-in you are greeted by a pleasant officer who gets you set. Then the nurse comes, mine was Yolanda. She checked me and kindly put me at ease with the pain I was in. Dr. Wiesinger came in ordered some tests and when done was advised as what was wrong. Nurse Wendy gave me discharge orders and with a kind smile wished me well. The doctors, nurses, and all staff at this location are professional, kind and do an excellent job including Dr. Biondolillo. Thank you for always taking excellent care of whenever I am in your ER. This review is solely based on my wife's recent visit to this ER last week. My wife came here last spring and the doctor on duty was fantastic. Unfortunately when she came here last week he was not working that day and a different doctor that was working was terrible. My wife was experiencing numbness in her extremities, and the doctor that was on duty had very poor bedside manner. She told him she is pregnant and in her first trimester. He wanted her to take a CT scan and said his concern was with the mother. Dude what? Most doctors do not recommend pregnant women in their first trimesters to get CT scans. He should have told my wife that there is another ER not far, Sarasota Memorial ER in Lakewood Ranch, that has an MRI machine that would be safer for the baby. Instead it sounded like h
