Hawaii Family Dental - Ewa Beach

Great dental office. very clean and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful. Answered all my questions and explained what they were doing to put me at ease. Everyone was friendly. My temporary crown cracked and I was able to get an appointment as soon as I walked in. The staff all showed compassion and took care of me right away. Very grateful to be a patient at this dental office and plan to stay here for a long time.

First, the customer service at the front desk, awful. Snooty attitudes and side comments/laughing for no reason. i will only go to the kapolei office going forward. Second I’d appreciate being informed or taught without condescending tone. The hygenist was really cool in her energy but i don’t like hearing a professional discuss other peoples appointments in a negative way relating it to mine or telling me i don’t floss when i tell u i do . My gums were bleeding because she was poking at them with a sharp object (i don’t use nearly that much pressure or a sharp object between my teeth other than floss and then told me im not flossing because they’re bleeding. Well first of all the hygienist greeted me with a smile and welcomed me to the dental facility at Ewa Beach. Then explained the cleaning procedure and to my surprise she was not only professional and nice but very gentle while cleaning my teeth. Another hygienist that I went to, was a little on the rough side. This office made me very comfortable and wanted to come back on my next visit!

Loved my visit. Receptionist were kind and Dr. Kang was very nice and gentle. Procedure was quick too. One of my best experience at a dental appointment.

Dr. Robert Marusco DDS, makes going to the dentist FUN! He and his staff are delightful. He is always upbeat, talkative, comforting, gentle, painless and so good at what he does! He takes it slow and is supportive for those of us who are not fond of dental work. Looking forward to my next filling!
