Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care

I've had nothing but great experiences at Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care Centers until today. Doctor Moriello-Conte was dismissive, invalidating, and condescending. She made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her. I am a living kidney donor, and have been experiencing abdominal pain on top of a serious cold. Worried that it was something potentially more serious, I called the organ donation team at the hospital I donated at. They as well as an employee of a local radiology facility told me to get a referral at a Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care to get an ultrasound on the same day. They suggested an urgent care considering I still do not have a primary care doctor due to a recent move I made. She refused to provide me with a referral, and continued to downplay my symptoms and experiences.

Dr Young was excellent ~ gave thorough explanation of test results. Nurses Abby and Anthony were great and Mercedes was so pleasant and gave excellent discharge instructions

Was taken to register quickly. Was tended to with patience. Dr. Was informative only problem I had Was went to pharmacy and because Dr. Changed the medication it had gotten canceled at the pharmacy. I called the walk in and Dr. straightened it out immediately.

My experience was very pleasant. From the assistants at the desk, the nurses as well as the doctors. Was a pleasure to meet all.

The experience was good overall. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly. I live in Monroe so the convenience of having an urgent care center close by was ideal.
