Not happy with this office at all. My doctor left and the office never contacted me for another physician to take over. I’m 63 and haven’t had a physical in two yrs or a mammogram! Have called for two days for a prescription to be refilled! They told me it takes a few days… well it’s been a few days. They just told me it takes five to seven days!! BS as far as I’m concerned! Going to another office but can’t get in till April! If anything happens to me between now and then I will Sue for malpractice!

No appointments available for more than a year! Avoid this place. I am left with no proper doctor after 13+ years being a patient here. This all happened after Dr Harding retired. The person on at the front desk offered to be seen by a ARPN. I needed a proper doctor to go over my annual physical health check up. This really sucks!

I have been coming to Hartford Healthcare in Vernon for several years. I see a few providers in this building. I do need to say, of them all, the staff at this particular office at the front desk are the least friendly. I understand they are busy and probably deal with difficult personalities, as do I at my job, but not all patients are the same. We're not all rude or difficult. The rest of the staff are extremely nice! I gave them 4 stars because they were able to schedule me in a timely manner, called me immediately when they received my ultrasound order and the back end staff were wonderful. They got the job done professionally and efficiently, in addition to being kind and comforting, which is the most important to me.

Pam at the front desk was wonderful, but I had a very unpleasant experience with another staff member seated behind her who makes the call to remind pt to bring the CD of last mamogram. When I explained that my mother was having difficulty obtaining her mammogram CD from a facility in another state due to a language barrier and health issues, the staff member approached me in an aggressive manner, as if ready for confrontation. I politely asked if she could help request the record be sent to Hartford Healthcare Vernon Imaging, but she refused and said the patient had to handle it. Possibly named Caroline?, with long blonde hair, working the afternoon of 3/18/25—she repeatedly said, “Your mom said she would bring the CD. We were scared to come here today with an ongoing problem my husband has been dealing with. We couldn’t wait till Monday so we went ! Best decision ever,because the staff is so kind and patient. My heart will forever be thankful for Miriam K Wiggins,PA-C. This Dr was the most informative,patient and kindest Dr ever . If she had a practice I would go to her ! You will never find someone like her . So thankful for her and you will be very fortunate if you have her ! Thank you again ☺️
