I've been a patient there for three years and have received very good care. My doc is thorough and listens to and addresses my concerns. Staff members I've met have been helpful. I want to give a shout out the the nurses who have been quick to respond to MyChart inquiries. One thing I just noticed is that some of the programs are no longer listed. Perelman is listed as a Center for Excellence for bronchiectasis but I can't find that any longer under Penn's site and it was there in past. I found the list/team of pulmonologists who treat/have interest in bronchiectasis and MAC very helpful when I needed one.

I have waited approx THREE months for an appt which isnt until July 29th, 2024. On June 19th, 2024 I received a voicemail letting me know that my appt has been cancelled!!!! Their next available is on Aug 27th, 2024!!!!! I am just flabbergasted that a doctor can not only cancel your appt that you waited 90 days for they then offer the next day and time thats convenient for the doctor to see you which would make it 120 DAYS i would be waiting for appt!!!! I guess it doesnt matter whats convenient for the patient. Hence.... why I made an appt on a specific day at a specific time. "Its the doctors world I am just living in it". Since I can not make that appt on Aug 27th I am already prepared to call the appt line tomorrow, god forbid you get thru to a human being that works in the office, wh

Dr lazar has a horrible bedside manner and is rude as can be . She is unreceptive to patient input . Her nursing staff are lazy , they don’t want to do prior drug authorizations, . They are lacking in patient care , safety and are quite duplicitous.
