Harder Family Practice

Receive random bills for preventative maintenance (physical) that is 100% covered by insurance months after the physical is performed. this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. the first time i was not sure so i just paid the bill. This year I payed the copay ahead of time to avoid this and sure enough months later I get another random bill for my physical. I believe they will bill you months later for lower amounts (less than 50$) and hope you just pay it. (I used to do this). This year I paid attention and believe I am getting taken advantage of here. They are shady. Insurance covers a preventative physical including copay but not for Harder family practice. The only Dr. office this has happened to me at and this will be the last time I ever go there. Beware.

Moved my whole family here after an insurance change forced us to leave Via Christi/Ascension Network. We have been pleasantly surprised. It's always super easy to get a timely appointment. Abby has taken great care of my whole family. So glad we moved to a provider here in town!

Cannot suggest obtaining services here. Office staff is hardly competent. I have had to chase down referrals and lab tests for days and today walked in for an appointment and told I didn’t have one (had the appointment card in my hand)..Primary doctor is rarely there and most of the care is provided by nurses…avoid if possible

Tl;dr: My family has been going to this doctor's office for 20 years, but my bill was sent to collections without a phone call or email. They had two phone numbers and one email they could have contacted me with, yet they didn't try any of them and when I asked about it said that it was part of "office policy." They can use my phone number and email to contact me about appointment details but they can't contact me about billing? When I tried to call them about it, they didn't return my calls for two days until eventually I had to go in myself and was charged an extra $65 because the bill had gone to collections. They lost a patient today because they didn't bother to use the information that had on hand. I expected more from my hometown's doctor's office.

I was not happy at all with the service I received at this facility. I waited 35 minutes in the waiting room and waited another 20 in the exam room. Once I was seen it took a short 10 minutes for the doctor to tell me she wants to see me in a few months. I did not feel like I was a priority and wasted my time and money going here.
