Harbor House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

Transported by ambulance following 4 days in hospital as the result of being hit by a car ... me being hit by a car, not my car being hit by another car. I spent 7 days in rehab unit. Physical plant is well maintained and provides a pleasing setting. Rooms were bright and spacious. Staffing very adequate, with several levels of support ranging from assistants to medical staff to Physical & Occupational Therapists. Very organized as far as letting me know who did what and what I could expect during my stay. For the most part the time line of treatment was fairly well adhered to, although there were some gaps in what was discussed and when it was actually done. Staff was consistently patient, understanding, helpful and very professional in our interactions. I was sent home with a clear plan

My mother has been a resident at Harbor House for one year and she receives remarkable care by the kind, compassionate and professional nursing team, doctors, aides, hairstylists and administrative staff. Each member of the team treats her with respect and compassion. They are not only highly skilled and attentive to her medical needs but also genuinely caring, patient and supportive. The facility itself is well-kept, and peaceful . It gives me peace of mind to know that she is nearby in a warm and comfortable environment of friendly and helpful people. I recommend Harbor House to people needing excellent rehabilitation and/or nursing care.

Harbor House in Hingham has been amazing to me on my road to recovery. The staff from nursing to administration physical therapist housekeeping, CNA‘s and all the other stuff that keeps this facility running 24 hours a day. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, the food has been excellent. I wish I could rate more than five stars. Harbor House is amazing. Would totally recommended 100%.

My mom was at Harbor House for 3 months, recovering from a surgery about 8 years ago. The care was amazing. A few months ago, my 99 year old mother in law needed a safe place to rehabilitate, Harbor House was our first thought. The physical therapy was outstanding. I can’t say enough about how the staff worked so hard to make her feel comfortable and welcomed. From the social worker, activities, hair salon, aides, nursing and kitchen staff, top to bottom a truly caring place. Any question or concern we had was answered right away and we truly felt heard. We highly recommend Harbor House and are grateful for the care my mother in law received.
