I am only commenting since there is no way to reply to the hateful comment Espinoza made and lack of information, which I am sure she left out. Yes parents are not allowed back there when a child needs to be put under. But they are in the greatest of hands with the anetheologist Why?it is to have the child as comfortable as possible in new surrounding and not nervous, they will keep child distracted and then put the mask on them but first they do introduce the mask and use it as a toy for child to get comfortable with it. As for staff and dr.kareem. that entire facility is so welcoming and warm. There is no negative in sight. I had my.kids placed under general (put to sleep) the prior appointment leading up to that they would be gentle and explain in depth why and what needs to be done.

We were clients of Dr. Block and very appreciative of her. She made an excellent choice in who she sold her practice to. The care and demeanor of Dr. Raslan is top notch! His employees are amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Jessica and Selena were gentile with my kids and very professional. Dr Kareem is interested in hearing each child’s thoughts and concerns and patiently answers any questions they have. My family has been going to Harbor Kids Teeth for over 15 years. Dr Block recently retired and although we miss the familiar decor, the new faces and fun atmosphere makes Dr Kareem’s team very approachable.

Do not take your young children here, a family member of mine recently went to this office and the male dentist was completely condescending to her and belittled her and her parenting decisions. They wanted to use general anesthesia on her child who is 5 and under and told her she was absolutely not allowed in the room and when she said she wasn’t comfortable with that and needed to speak to her partner before making that decision, she was told that “i’m sure he will be just fine with it”. Completely belittling and disrespectful. This was all infront of her young son who was then left scared. Considering this is a children’s dentist I am disappointed in the things we’ve heard and don’t recommend.

I am so happy with this dentistry. That has great accomedations for my son, who is autistic and it's a relief to find a place like this that my kids feel comfortable to be seen by the dentist with no issues.
