I was able to see Dr. Kirby within one week of calling for a second opinion on an arthritic hip. She had already reviewed all my CT and xrays as she entered the room. Yes, I did need surgery! I was scheduled quickly 10 days later. When I arrived at Scrpps Encinitas, she and Dr. Sergio Kaska, whom is also a great doctor, were there ready to greet me and get ready for surgery. She was fantastic! I've had little pain and one week out I'm ready to transition from a walker to cane! Do not hesitate to make appointments with Dr. Kirby! I'm so happy I went to her for my hip replacement and you will also!!
