Hampton Road Oral Surgery

I have high anxiety when it comes to any surgery and Dr. Phelps and his team made my wisdom teeth extraction a easy and pretty painless process. They explained everything that was going to happen in a understandable way. This team even went through the trouble to go over my insurance with me and explained what each cost was and how they got that total. After my surgery, which was today, his team gave me a call to ask how I was doing! I never expected that and was extremely happy because I felt that my bleeding wasn't stopping. They gave me helpful advise and encouraged me call at anytime over the weekend if i had any concerns. I am so happy I chose Dr. Phelps to be my oral surgeon!

My husband had a great consult and was scheduled for his oral surgery. We didn’t receive a call to confirm the surgery so I called the morning of just to confirm the time. I was transferred to 3 different people who would not confirm the time for me and was left on hold for 3 min. The fourth person informed me that my husbands surgery had been cancelled because of a scheduling error in the office. My husband had not had any food since the night before and had taken the meds prescribed before surgery. Six months later I scheduled an appointment for my son. My husband had an emergency at his office and traffic was really bad. We were 10 min late and the appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for a date in 3 weeks. Make sure you are prompt and on time for your appointments at this office.

Excellent doctor with a great bedside manner. I was super nervous about getting a tooth extracted and he was very reassuring. I’ve had a lot of experience with dentists, and so far I can say I trust Dr. Phelps completely.

Had Dr.Phelps at both locations and was fantastic and helpful! Staff here is also nice and patient! Would highly recommend as my wisdom teeth removal went with no complications! Thank you again 😁
