Halifax Hospital Professional Building

Checking in for surgery the morning of, the woman at the reception desk was coughing continously, even had to walk away because she couldn't stop,resulting in my visiting sister- in- law,in town to take care of me after hip surgery became sick thanks to this woman. It would probably be advisable not to come to work if you're that sick - enough to put patients and care givers at risk

If you’re planning to visit your doctor at the Halifax Professional Center, be aware that you may be treated more like a suspect than a patient upon entering the building Although the doctors are amazing On multiple occasions, I have experienced unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from the security staff at this facility — despite not entering the hospital, but simply visiting physicians in the medical building attached to it. During one visit, I was harassed, subjected to an invasive search, and had my personal belongings handled without my consent. I was even physically frisked inappropriately, including being touched in private areas. Been there several times. Halifax medical center helped to save my spouse's life many years ago. And have been there for fibula surgery. ( thankful to God for dr. John Borzok)!! This was the best choice I ever made!! I was terrified at Quest for bloodwork so I called Halifax. They took my insurance, Gluede or Julie (not sure the name but she wore a hijab), was super kind! I’m terrified of needles, and I didn’t even know I took blood until it was done, she told me later I was done. Amazing experience!!

The staff at this place are absolutely horrible. They called my mom at 915 this morning to confirm her appointment for 130 today. So after i took the day off of work and my 2 sisters came from out of state.we get to the appointment and they proceed to tell us that the dr had an emergency and left. They tried to say they called my moms number yet the number they used was a number from 10 years ago that we dont even know how they got. We tried to explain that they apparently had the correct number because they had called this morning to confirm the appointment so how in the hell did they have the wrong number to call an cancel the appointment. She basically insinuated we were lying about them calling to confirm the appointment. They were extremely rude and nasty to us and did absolutely not
