Took my mom this morning. We had preselected a time Sunday evening. They were supposed to open at 8:00 am. At 8:30 am when we arrived no one was at the place except a lady in a car. Supposedly the office was being opened by different people than normal and no one had the keys. So as a recap...30 minutes after they were supposed to be open, only 1 person (desk lady) was at work and no one could get in and there was no idea of when the keys would arrive. An hour later, key had still not arrived. No doctors or nurses had even arrived at work yet. No attempt was made to call and let use know. Highly unprofessional! Get to work on time, have a plan of how you will get into the building, etc. There really is no excuse.

My husband and I both had to go to the urgent care in Daytona beach shores today. We were greeted, checked in and treated in a timely, professional manner. Everyone as extremely friendly. We would definitely go back should we need care.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Halifax Health Express Care. During my visit, my confidential health information was carelessly disclosed in a public space, violating my privacy rights. The healthcare provider loudly shared my test results in the lobby, where others, including the receptionist and patients, could overhear everything. This is a clear violation of both HIPAA and Florida state privacy laws. Despite raising these concerns and giving the facility ample time to address the issue, Halifax Health Express Care chose to downplay the severity of the situation. They denied any violations occurred and claimed that the disclosure was "incidental," which is not only inaccurate but also an attempt to avoid accountability. Fantastic help every time I’ve gone. All of the negative reviews seem to be people who do not understand the definition and limitations of a walk-in health clinic. I’ve had all of the NPs there - two were women and one was an older gentleman - each were thorough and fantastic. Sometimes there is a wait, sometimes there isn’t. My preferred place to go for my yearly colds and general aches and pains.

It's no wonder they have a 3.3 review. Think about that urgent care. 3.3 star review. It all starts with the kid that answers the phone ignorant. He whispers you can barely hear him. And he likes to hang the phone up on people when they ask him tough questions. What a disgrace that a company would let somebody like that answer their telephone.
