I’m very disappointed with the service at Hackensack Hospital. I called to confirm my dad’s appointment and provided both his and my information. The person I spoke to asked for all the details, only to tell me afterward that she couldn’t help because it had to be done by my dad himself. If she had told me that right from the beginning, I would have completely understood. But instead, she wasted time and made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be.

absolutely trash healthcare service. communication within their system is totally broken. jovie (nurse) and moira (front desk) are particularly impatient and useless. wouldn't trust them with a coffee order to be honest.

From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff member, Yildis Campos, was extremely rude. We were late due to school traffic, and while I acknowledged that it was our fault, she was very snappy about it. I politely suggested if we could reschedule for a later time if this was causing a big issue for her, but despite taking us in, her attitude was unprofessional and made my whole family very uncomfortable. Throughout the visit, she rarely answered our questions properly and showed no professionalism. One of the worst moments was when she abruptly snapped the blood pressure cuff off my arm, which left my arm unbelievably sore the next day. Although the waits can be long, it is for a good reason because of the amount of time & care that their doctors provide to patients. I want to single out one specifically, Dr. David Shin. He truly puts his patients first and goes out of his way to ensure that his patients are doing their best before, during and after procedures. I'm not a fan of the medical industrial complex, but knowing that there are good people like him give me hope. Easily one of the best Doctors I've ever had.

Dr Basralian is a great physician, but the staff leaves much to be desired. They greet you and take your info alright, but god help you if you need something close to quitting time. They just get up and walk away without a word, like you're invisible. And their online appointment service is no better. You request an appointment and they simply don't respond.
