H-E-B Pharmacy

I have been using HEB Pharmacy, (located in Lake Jackson Texas) for years. I've had a couple of issues over the years, but they were always resolved. The pharmacist they have now is incredibly fast, friendly, and accurate. I've never had a shortage on my medications since he started there. He's all about customer service !! If the lines get long, and both registers are open and occupied, he stops filling scripts, runs over to an empty window used for counseling, and starts checking out customers. My ONLY COMPLAINT about HEB, is not having access when I'm on vacation out of Texas. Other than that, this HEB Pharmacy is awesome.

Thank you for always answering my questions and providing such excellent customer service! Anytime I have a questions about our prescriptions, someone is always happy to go over it with me and that means a lot. I used Kroger’s pharmacy for years and was always treated like a nuisance when I called in for assistance. I switched all of my family’s medication’s over to H-E-B about a year ago and I am so happy that I did! The drive-through for medication pick up and drop off is always so quick and the service in the drive-through is usually friendly. Thank you for taking pride in how you serve the community.

I’m not typically one to leave negative reviews, but this one really got me. My husband needed a medicine from the pharmacy and we called to let them know we would be arriving at 8:02. Could they stay open so that he could get the medication he needed before the holiday. Understandably, they said no, but then we asked if we rushed, rushed, rushed and got there just before 8:00 would they help us. They said sure, of course. When we pulled through the drive through at 7:58, they had closed the shade over the window… made eye contact with us through the shade, and then refused to help us. Just blatantly unprofessional and downright ugly. When we spoke to the store manager, they confirmed that the pharmacy workers do it frequently against the managers wishes.

My experience was not a good one. Poor customer service and promise of medication that they won’t have the next day when you go to pick it up. They also won’t tell you that you owed them money for it after telling you to check other pharmacies for the medication. But then the next day started calling my phone every day to tell me that I owed them $2.07 because they loaned me medication. Yet, both times when we went back we were not told this in person. I have a busy life and it could’ve been taken care of while we were there. This pharmacy should not be promising medication for the next day, because when you go they will not have it. This was my first time filling at an H-E-B pharmacy and I won’t go back. My review is to warn others, but hopefully something changes with their employees and

My insurance changed and I needed my prescription. I was blindsided by HEB Pharmacy that it was $292 to fill it. I needed it so I paid it. I got home and started researching it. They were $110 higher than ALL other local pharmacies. I learned I can see all prices “in network” on the website. HEB is “in network” too. I went back to HEB. This medication is individually packaged medication. They said they can’t take it back. Ok. Whatever. Can you match the price? Nope. The lady at the counter actually said next time ask your doctor to send it somewhere else. 😂 Thanks. HEB you have completely lost my business for good now. I will also make it my life’s mission to tell anyone that’ll listen this story as I recommend to never use HEB Pharmacies. I hope that extra $110 is worth it for you.👍
