If it were possible to give 10 stars I would. The dentist at this location were compassionate, patient and caring and provided the utmost professional service. From the two receptionists at the front who greeted me when I was at my very lowest in pain to the wonderful dental assistant, who was patient and kind I cannot say anything more than this is the top rated dentist office.

I’ve been a patient at Gum Springs Dental Care for a few years, but after my recent experience, I’ve decided to take my family my mom, my wife, and myself somewhere else. From the start, I noticed their constant upselling of extra services. I usually declined politely, and as long as the billing stayed transparent, I didn’t mind. However, they pressured me into doing deep cleanings multiple times a year. I went along with it, thinking it was standard care. Fast forward to today, I received an unexpected bill for $128 for a service my wife supposedly received back in December 2024. We’re now in November 2025, almost a year later! When I called to ask about it, I was told she had three cleanings that year, which doesn’t match our records or the insurance portal. We’ve always paid our dues

They constantly push extra services, and even after declining most of them, I was pressured into multiple deep cleanings each year. Now, nearly a year later, they’ve sent us a surprise bill for $128 for a service from December 2024 that neither I nor our insurance has any record of. We always pay at the time of visit, so this makes no sense. Their billing is sloppy, their admin team doesn’t double-check records, and dealing with them is frustrating. Save yourself the trouble and find a dentist who’s transparent and organized.

I went to Gum Springs Dental Care expecting a simple cleaning, but they refused to do it unless I agreed to an expensive periodontal treatment they were pushing. I’ve had regular cleanings for years with my previous dentist in Fairfax, and no one ever mentioned such a problem. It felt like they cared more about selling treatments than providing honest care. I left without getting anything done, and I won’t be returning. I’d suggest finding a dentist who values patients, not profits.

Doctors recommending deep clean without conservative treatment trial before going for it. The deep clean is not covered by most of the insurances and it's expensive. Please double check with other dental professional for a second opinion before making a decision.
