Guardian Angels Health & Rehabilitation Center

I was at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center for 35 days. I received excellent care! The nurses and the aides were wonderful and very interested in not only my wellbeing but how I was doing personally. They made sure I had what I needed, even bringing me coffee first thing in the morning! What a plus!!! Thank you to all for your care, concern and love!!

Short staffed. Upper management does not care about the well-being of the residents nor do they listen to family. It’s one problem after the next. Save yourself trouble and go another facility.

My sister, who has brain cancer, was brought to Guardian Angel Rehab Center after being in the hospital in the cities for a month. She was really looking forward to start PT and happy to be in a facility close to home. She wasn’t there for 24 hours and 2 employees put her in a hoyer lift and because the harness was not put on properly she was dropped on her head from being suspended 4 ft off the floor. She ended up with 2 brain bleeds and is very sore from her fall. Thank the lord that she is now in Miller Dwan getting top notch care. I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs any type of care.

I would not recommend having a loved one here. Very poor quality of caring about the elderly. My mom has lived there for the last year, she was charged $8000 month, and for that we had hoped for a high quality of care so we got her in there, but they do not do what they should be doing. She had such a bad urinary tract infection that she had to be hospitalized and those, if unchecked can cause serious health problems and possibly death. I wish that was the only thing we are dissatisfied with, but it is not. The staff will tell you what they think you want to hear but doesn’t follow through. VERY DISSAPOINTED
