They make appointments then when you show up they tell you they are too busy. Then WHY have appointments. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. Then to send an automated response to this review is just another insult. ADDENDUM: They knew this problem existed but do nothing about it. They cannot even give you a warning on the website of this possibly happening when you are FORCED to make an appointment instead of walk-ins. And still all they do it give automated hollow apologizies instead of fixing an issue thats been goingon apparebtky for quite a while. They wasted over an hour of my time, who knows how many other donors wasted that much and more than likely even more time. They could not even offer a small incentive for doing this to people. Unacceptable for a business. Espec

Well I was denied because I’m living in a private shelter… doesn’t seem like fair policies whatsoever. Especially considering I’m actively fleeing a DV situation and am a single mother who is in need of extra $$ to help support myself and my children. I feel there are probably laws to protect me but I guess not in this situation unfortunately. The staff was very helpful in resolving the issue but still doesn’t change the fact that I was denied to donate the day of my appointment and couldn’t get the $$ I really needed to help me and my children out. Doesn’t seem very fair whatsoever.

This place is a joke, and the positive reviews are not honest. It was only remotely okay when there was a younger male doctor with short blond hair working here—and even then, that was only because discrimination was clearly happening behind the scenes. Since he left, I’ve been repeatedly turned away and told my vitals are “too high,” even though I’m physically active and take care of myself. I strongly believe the equipment is being tampered with or is inaccurate. The treatment I’ve received seems to be based on how I look and the fact that I sometimes wear women’s clothing. Clothing is just clothing—what I wear has nothing to do with my health or my right to be treated with respect. Because of this, I’ve been mistreated and made uncomfortable. I overheard staff whispering about not wanti

Grifols has helped me create extra income for books while attending school full-time. It feels great to help others while also helping myself in the process. Nadine and the rest of the staff is also super friendly and helpful, thank you all!

The people here are all skilled and kind. The process is straightforward, and during the 90 minutes or so of the donation, it's not too loud to listen to a podcast or read a book. For two donations a week, you get $45 for the first donation and $75 for the second. The plasma is then used to help burn victims, those with bleeding disorders or weakened immune systems, and babies with Rh disease. Highly-recommend!
