I’ve been to many veterinary clinics since my cat Freya and I moved to New York City three and a half years ago, and this is by far the best one we’ve visited. The service is exceptional, and the entire team is incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I felt truly heard and listened to by the doctor, who did not try to push any unnecessary tests or treatments (which, unfortunately, is rare in the city). Their pricing is also very fair and reasonable compared to many other clinics in the area. The doctor created a simple, comprehensive plan for Freya and helped put my fears at ease. Freya and I are so happy to call Greenpoint Veterinary Hospital our home vet. Merci to everyone there!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Zelman for the compassion and care she showed during one of the hardest moments of my life. Saying goodbye to my dog Elvis was heartbreaking, but Dr. Zelman made the process as peaceful and dignified as possible. She took the time to explain every step with patience and kindness, never rushing me, and always making sure my dog Elvis felt safe and comfortable. My first experience at GVH was years ago with my cat, and it was great—super nice staff. Now I have three dogs, and we’ve already visited twice. I truly trust this place because they take excellent care of my dogs. The clinic is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. That’s all that matters to me.

I don’t even live in the neighborhood but this is the only vet I will go to! They are extremely kind and professional. They make sure you have everything you need to make an informed decision about the health of your furry friend :) Walked out of the bathroom to hear multiple staff fawning over my kitty. By far the best vet I’ve ever been to! Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful. Going to previous vet offices, my dog was beginning to get extremely anxious and nervous anytime he understood we were going to “the vet”, but since we made the switch to Greenpoint Vet, he seems happy to be there. They really work hard to make sure it’s not a traumatizing experience for my dog and I’m so appreciative to not have to feel like I’m dragging him in. Plus they’re very thorough with explaining what’s going on and any solutions to address my pet’s problems.
