My mother is a legally blind, bariatric, wheelchair-bound 91 year old. About 5-6 weeks ago, she began complaining of pain in a lower left tooth. I contacted her insurance and was told Greenberg accepted patients. I called Greenberg and gave them all pertinent information and made it very clear that she’s difficult to transport ($242 round trip for a transport service) and we needed the bad tooth extracted… again, 91 blind and in pain. The transport company picked us up at 9:15 and had us at the office by 9:30 for our 10am appointment. When I walked in, I had to ask another patient to please hold the door for mom (staff didn’t offer to help). I went to the desk and was not greeted, no eye contact, just “be with you in a minute “. Not impressed by this office. I had to get a deep cleaning done where they only do half of your mouth at a time. After the first visit I had a pain in 2 teeth that was killing me. I called and told them i needed it checked out. I was told they would check it out at my next appointment to clean the other half of my mouth. On the day of the appointment Intold them again I needed my two teeth that were hurting looked at. They did the cleaning then conveniently told me that the dentist was busy and had to make an emergency appointment and wait I. The waiting room after I was already in the chair. All to try and squeeze an emergency visit fee on top of the $450 I already paid. Then tried to charge my insurance twice for the same service on the same day. I won’t be back there. Something is of

Dr Amaro is great!!! He's so friendly and really listens to any concerns plus I have bad anxiety but not when I see him . I'm always comfortable and he is gentle ! Assistants are very nice too and very good hygienist. They take their time with my cleanings and that I appreciate as some places rush them in only a couple mins 🫶💗

I came here with ongoing dental pain, expecting professional care and clear treatment options. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The dentist acknowledged that my tooth likely needed a crown but refused to do the procedure, saying the cosmetic outcome might not look ideal. I was in pain and asked for relief, yet the focus seemed more on appearance and potential reviews than on my comfort or dental health. After I insisted, a small filling was placed as a temporary measure — but no referral or follow-up plan was provided. I left still in pain and without the treatment I needed. If you’re looking for a provider who prioritizes patient well-being and provides appropriate care or referrals, I would recommend seeking another office.

I love everyone here! I've had some horrible experiences in the past to the point that I refused to see one for years. When needed I came here for an emergency about 6 years ago. I met Dr. Amaro and he is phenomenal. I couldn't ask for a better dentist and the best assistant ever is Carla! Carla has made several temp crowns for me and she is so gentle and does fantastic work. I am thankful and pleased with the work that Dr. Amaro and Carla do together. They're the best ever!
