Dr. Ryan went above and beyond in communicating with us during the end of our dogs life. We explored every option patiently and his caring nature separates him from other vets we’ve seen. He is compassionate and genuine at every turn and surpassed all of our expectations when we found him. Our dog has passed, but the memory of the care and love he got at the end will remain with us forever. Thank you Dr. Ryan.

It's a great thing when strangers meet at the park and start talking about how wonderful their vet is and it turns out to be the same vet. Dr. Rind is amazing. Our dog, my daughter's my brother's. I’ve been going to the Great Neck Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years. But it was how they handled the end of life of my cat that is prompting this review. My 19 year old cat went into kidney failure, and we were in palliative care mode for some time. During that time, the vets were always there to answer questions, to squeeze me in for an appointment if a new issue popped up, after my cat carrier broke, they even leant me a cat carrier to use so that I could easily make my appointments to give my cat fluids. Their bedside manner was excellent and I appreciated their candor and help in navigating end of life care for my furry companion of nearly twenty years. Please do not take your pets here. I don’t feel safe with my dog (or any animal) in this vet's care due to sanitary reasons, a lack of knowledge, and a lack of care. The exam room is extremely dirty and they used clippers on my dog that were rusty and had dried blood on them. They also were very rough with her, aggressively and forcefully moving her into positions when she was already being obedient and docile. Even when I said I could just ask her to lay down, stand up, etc., they ignored me and continued to be just as rough with her. Also, the vet saw the wound on her neck and he just squeezed it, like it was a pimple. This made her writhe in pain and they just held her down harder. Other vets I’ve seen try to soothe the pet more but this vet had no compassion whatsoever. Also he didn’t
