Great Expressions Dental Centers - Pittsfield

I’ve never left a rating for anything ever. If I could give this place negative stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST. I made an appointment online and had to book it 3 months out on a Thursday at 4pm. The week of my appointment on Monday I got a voicemail from them “regarding my appointment.” I immediately called back, but no one picked up, so I left a VM. Today was Thursday so I took the afternoon off from work. But I called first since I never received a call back from them. I spoke with someone who said I didn’t have an appointment and wasn’t in the system. I said how’s that possible, I have the voicemail I can play it for you. Then I was told that they have no ability to check for appointments made online, I’m not making this up. And while they know it doesn’t work they leave that a

I had an intake exam & cleaning appointment today, and every member of staff I interacted with was pleasant and knowledgeable. The receptionist was busy but not dismissive or careless. Hunter the hygienist was very good at working around my problem teeth, very attentive, and didn't stall when taking the X-rays, something I appreciate since the bitewing does dig into your mouth as it always tends to do. I didn't get much time with Dr. Nainal today but when I did talk to him about my treatment going forwards he was compassionate and clear about the next steps we'd need to take. Overall a good experience, with my only complaint being that the office is pretty busy, and like all dentists in the Berkshires they're booked out into oblivion. Absolutely terrible customer service. I had three appointments scheduled and all three were cancelled without any notification. I drove an hour and a half to this office only for them to tell me they cancelled the appointment, claiming that they called me. I pulled up my call logs and had received no calls from them. The receptionist was also extremely rude, to the point that her manager had to tell her to calm down multiple times. The hygensit who helped me was fantastic, and the only reason I went back after the first experience. He was super sweet and helped find a solution for my appointment being cancelled the first time.

Hygienist was good. Problem is front desk person tried charging me $75 for regular cleaning that is covered by insurance. They should know this based on my insurance plan.

Getting new dentures and went for my second appointment. I forgot the time so was late and they still got me in quickly 😊
