Great Expressions Dental Centers - Baymeadows Rd Ste 1

I had a good experience with Great Expressions! Dr. Morgan and her assistant Nancy were very professional and gentle during my root canal process. They also squeezed me into their tight schedule because it was an emergency and stayed late to make me feel comfortable and to fully complete the procedure. I highly recommend this establishment for root canal or any other Dental procedures!

Honestly, I am writing this review because I felt like I was not being properly cared for. I initially went in for a cleaning and had no issues. The hygienist advised me to come back for fillings, most importantly for a tooth that had chipped. He explained that I should take care of that tooth before the other cavity because it could worsen and potentially turn into a root canal. I later went in for my filling appointment and did not have any issues until that day. A female dentist came in and explained what she would be doing, and I agreed. She began working on the opposite side of the “important” tooth. After she finished, she told me she was done and walked out. My experience at Dental Expressions - Baymeadows was extremely disappointing. The equipment looked outdated, like it hadn’t been upgraded in decades, which did not inspire confidence in the quality of care. When I arrived, my insurance was verified, which is normal—but there was absolutely no privacy. The front desk staff loudly called out my birthday, and I could hear their entire conversation from where I was sitting. If you value your personal privacy, this is not the place for you. After taking X-rays, I was told I would need to come back two months later just for a basic cleaning. This made no sense, as cleanings are typically done during the initial visit. One of the best experiences I’ve had with dental work! I wanted to schedule for a cleaning but due to me being a new patient I had to receive x rays first. They got me in and out and also got me scheduled for my cleaning in the same week! Kim and Keke worked in tandem to meet all needs. Dr Morgan was very polite during her diagnoses and Nancy squeezed me in to get fitted for a retainer that’s long over due. I believe I met just about the entire staff and I’m sure I’m missing some names who played a part. I genuinely just want to thank this facility and their awesome staff. I’d suggest their business to anyone! Great service!

*EDIT* Terrible experience with my follow up appt today. Waited a full hour to be seen when I had an appt booked. It appears they are constantly understaffed and overbooked. The staff are trying their hardest to keep up but it's obvious management cares more about the bottom line than the customer experience. And they charge a 3% fee on credit cards which is just embarrassing for a healthcare facility to do. You can smell the greed from the parking lot. They got me scheduled within 24 hours of calling after being referred for an emergency root canal. Experience was smooth, customer service was fantastic, and the price was reasonable.
