I'll start by saying that, while I have a lot of knowledge of dogs (breeds and general knowledge), I haven't actually owned one in years. So, when I adopted my Cavalier KCS at 10 months old back in July, I was looking for advice and tips (dog ownership has changed since my twenties). I met with a nice enough young woman, but I did not get a lot of guidance from her on my first visit, and I was a bit disappointed. Still, I dutifully paid the very high bill (Echo needed leftover puppy shots and flea/tick/Heartworm meds & again, dog ownership ain't what it used to be), and I made his neuter appointment. I’ve lived in Loganville my whole life & have never met more sincere Veterinarians. I have also used Grayson Veterinary Hospital for more than 5 years for our fur babies care. The level of respect and care that they have for any breed and their clients is amazing! All four of my huskies love seeing all of the Tolliver’s. Definitely recommend this Vet!

I’ve been coming to this clinic for years, first with my childhood dog and now with my own dog, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. The Tolliver family is wonderful and I’ve been seeing the younger one (Rachel) specifically for the past few years. Even after moving between New York and Atlanta, I still prefer them over any other vet I’ve tried. Dr. Tolliver’s instincts are always on the money— every time she’s had a hunch about what might be going on, she’s been exactly right. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares. They really care, take their time, and never make you feel rushed or upsold. I’ve had experiences at big city clinics where it feels like they’re pushing every possible test or add-on, especially when they sense how much you love your p

TLDR: vets are stuck up and only care if it's convenient, spend your money elsewhere. Vets here are out of touch with the working class. They won't even look you in the face, preferring to hide, and leave difficult conversations to their hourly staff. Shameful. My dog is a rescue, I know the deal, but I'm not going to let you force me to sedate him, just to obtain preventative care, especially considering you have a viable alternative. Your selective 'concerns' were exaggerated, and unnecessarily rigid, demonstrating plainly, your contempt for those you think of as lesser than yourselves. My dog shouldn't have to continue suffering, just because of your cowardly sense of pride. I'll make sure he gets care, if not from you, then from someone willing. May God have mercy on us all.
