Grande Lake Healthcare Center

Purposely chose to return to Grande Lake specifically for rehab. They have kind caring staff and a good environment for healing both physically and mentally. They got the best out of me and help me to remain independant

If I could give a zero star review I would. I have a friend who has had alot of medical issues be placed in here for rehabilitation and they have treated him AWFUL. He is the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to a stranger, to hear such awful stories from him about this place and how badly they treat him and the other sickens me. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!!

Room was dirty. Housekeeping could be doing a better job. The bathroom was dirty and I put it to a test. Came back next day bathroom was still nasty. Nothing us wiped and cleaned properly. The bed rails and behind the beds were dirty. The chair wasn't cleaned properly after the other resident left. It has skin shavings all over it, the heater isn't being wiped off. You could just tell they arnt cleaning the rooms properly. But the nurses were wonderful!!!!! A few times we did go in and my father was very thirsty. He was unable to feed or hold anything. I know they are busy but could be more attentive. And the rooms should be cleaned after a resident leaves. I didn't even want to sit down because it felt dirty to me

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Recent place for me to rehab after some medical issues. I would never place my loved one here. Too many ongoing problems that go unresolved.

An older friend and his wife are at this awful facility. He is unable to feed himself and the staff leaves his food on tray and comes back to get and he can’t get to food or hold fork/spoon. His arms are bruised and has open tears where the staff has tried to pull him up incorrectly. His wife has memory and speak issues and unable to control her bowels. When I visit she always has a soiled diaper on. When I visited this week her soiled diaper full of feces was left under her bed and another one laying in the bathroom. The room had flies! This is a terrible way to treat our elderly!
